Luis Vilá began pursuing his love affair with painting full time a little over a decade ago after a career as a Certified Public Accountant. This transformation later in life has been rewarding and inspiring to many. He has studied extensively at the Art Students league, had many one-man shows and won numerous awards in juried shows. He paints in watercolor, oil and pastels. Luis spends summers traveling throughout France, Italy, Spain and Mexico, painting landscapes, street scenes and town scenes. He has grown to love these countries and this comes across in his work.

He is a member of the Colorado Watercolor Society, the Colorado Artists Guild and The Park Hill Art Club. The artist lives in Denver, Colorado.
